Anodising

Hard Anodising is a process by which an anodic oxidation film is formed on the surface of the aluminium component at very low bath temperature like 3-6* C. The thickness of the film will vary based on the product requirement. The hardness of the film will be 450Hv. A dichromate sealing process will follow hard anodising. The hard anodized components will have very good abrasion resistance along with corrosion resistance, Generally hard anodising is recommended for components where abrasion resistance is of importance than corrosion resistance.
